Stockworth Developments has been active in a variety of development projects across southern Ontario. The following is a sampling of the Stockworth projects:
Prince George Landing, Brooklin, Whitby
Stockworth Developments acquired a site located on Baldwin Street and George Street in the Community of Brooklin, Town of Whitby, Ontario. The site will be a mixed use development consisting of a small retail component and a combination of luxury and stacked towns. Stockworth Developments and Rosewater Developments will co-develop and build the site out. Rich in history and culture, the community of Brooklin within the town of Whitby combines the charm of a small town with the amenities of a busy city. Backing onto a ravine, fronting onto Baldwin Street, featuring balconies and underground parking, Prince George Landing is where your life combines with nature. These townhomes and apartments are perfectly situated in the heart of Brooklin, the perfect community for families and couples alike. Between the schools, shopping, and countless other convenient amenities, Prince George Landing is without a doubt where your dreams will become reality.
King’s Landing, Port Perry
Stockworth acquired the site for King’s Landing in the year 2000, and was able to construct and develop a free standing restaurant and a Canadian Tire store on the North end of the land. The South end is zoned for the development of 250 residential condominiums and approximately 100,000 square feet of retail, commercial and office.
The design of the buildings was to ensure that the architecture of Port Perry was present in our new buildings.
The site is adjacent to the environmentally sensitive Lake Scugog shores, and accordingly the site is blessed with the ability to be very close to walking trails and nature. The view from the residential units will take into account Lake Scugog.
As well, there will be newly built retail & commercial within walking distance of the residential. The residential units will have access to a fitness & wellness centre to be built. All residential units will have underground parking. Of course, there is always the historic downtown Port Perry which is not far away.
We will commence selling the units in 2017.
Dover Coast, Port Dover
The project is on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie. It is approximately one hour from the West end of Mississauga and a half hour from Ancaster and Brantford. The development is approximately 500 acres of land in the west end of Port Dover which was approved for approximately 1,500 residential units, approximately 20 acres for Hotel and Commercial, Medical Centre, Retirement House, and a Golf Course. The Project is the development and construction of an active adult lifestyle community and golf course. Our sales prices are substantially lower than that of a similar home in the GTA and will have superior interior finishes. The product that is being built is a bungalow (one floor living) with a loft in some models which is consistent with active adult lifestyle.
Brooklin Brownstones, Whitby
This is essentially the completion of a project that was developed in two phases. Phase 1 was Brooklin Mews, which was the commercial portion. Phase 2 is the Brooklin Brownstones, the residential portion. The Brownstones are now complete and closings have occurred as of April 2017. The project has 10 ground floor condo commercial units and above each commercial unit is two storey condo residential unit.
Brooklin Mews, Whitby
The Brooklin Mews is in the Heritage Designated district of Brooklin at the North East corner of Highway #7 (Winchester Rd.) and Highway #12 (Baldwin St.) in the community of Brooklin, in the Town of Whitby. It is comprised of approximately 22,000 square feet of retail that is anchored by the TD Bank branch. The architecture was controlled by the Heritage Board and accordingly has the feel of Brooklin’s historical roots. The Centre opened in 2012 and 2013.
